While this little gem doesn't look like much, it's a delight to the taste buds! My husband had raved about the banh mi's from Lees for a while and we were in the area, so why not? We were immediately greeted and our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered two of the combo banh mi's and the pho dac biet. I was surprised at how quickly everything came out and how delicious it all was!! The sandwiches were a well put together flavor party. The meats, the veggies and that sauce! Amazing! The pho was aromatic and flavorful and perfect and was definitely enough for two plus some to take home. While the ambiance isn't much, the tastes make up for it!
Consistently delicious. Everything I've ordered there had been exceptional. Prices are reasonable as well. Service is always quick and friendly.
Food: These are the best bahn mi in Atlanta! Bread is crispy yet soft, pork is super flavorful, and veggies are very fresh. The beef soup pairs super well and we love dipping our sandwiches in it as well. Egg rolls are also delicious. Ambience: No frills decor with a lot of seating. Big parking lot as well. Service: The food comes FAST! And the owner, Lee, is a true gem. He came to talk with us and told us his story, and how place came to be. Cost: You can't beat the cost! Less than $6 for the pork sandwich. Super cheap for a ton of food.
Super fast service. amazing value combo that gives you a hot, delicious bowl of beef pho and your choice of a half sandwich for only $13. Incredible. Not too many tables but the service speed and food is well worth the wait if there is one.
I've only tried this place once, but it's probably in my top three Vietnamese restaurants I've tried in the Atlanta area so far. The quality of the food was excellent even for take-out. My mom and I tried the rare steak, well done flank, and brisket combination pho, the grilled pork báhn mì, and the spring rolls. Everything was very tasty and fresh! We would reorder everything we tried. I can't speak on the in-person service or ambiance as this was a delivery order, but I would definitely recommend the food. Everything was well-portioned - plenty to share or for leftovers, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Give them a try if you haven't yet.
My coworker and his wife swore by this place and they were so so right, Lee's bakery is delicious, unassuming, efficient, everything you could ask for. I got the half and half banh me and pho, also the coffee which was also amazing. Truly, I loved Lee's bakery!
I came here for a quick solo lunch in the middle of running errands. I was seated right away at a communal table but spaced out from other diners, which was great bc I didn't wanna talk to anyone. Service is very fast and no frills, like most Asian restaurants. Polite but very efficient. I came for the half banh mi + pho combo and the iced vietnamese coffee. I also ordered a bbq pork banh mi to go to eat later. I got the le combo banh mi which came out first, followed by the pho a minute later. Everything was stellar. The bread quality of the banh mi is unreal and the cold cuts and veggies were so fresh. I don't usually finish pho, but this was just the perfect portion. The soup and sandwich combo was such a steal for $12.95! I headed to the register to pay and the cashier had my banh mi I ordered to go all wrapped up and ready.
I was told this is the best Banh Mi on Buford highway, and it definitely didn't disappoint! I got the spring rolls with shrimp only, the grilled pork sandwich, and a Thai tea. The spring rolls were standard and yummy. The bread on the banh mi was perfectly crispy and had great flavor. The filling was hot and fresh and so good! The place was packed the Saturday after thanksgiving, but since I was by myself, I was seated quickly. The staff is friendly, but the place is a little too busy to hang out. It was perfect for a quick lunch though. I will def be back, but prob just to take out.
I came here for lunch. Ordered a medium Pho to go with the brisket and steak. The Pho was delicious it was on the saltier side than what I'm used to but not too salty where I couldn't enjoy it. The medium was a really big portion for me. It was about 2-3 servings for me in a large bowl. There is both a dine in option and to go. Both you pay at the register. When I came it was pretty busy which was a reassuring sign. In addition to cooked food they offer foods such as prepackaged kimchi, meats, fresh baked bread and snacks. I was happy with my meal and would definitely come back to try out a Bahn Mi.
A solid rating of 4. They have of flaws in my opinion but the food is very good. First of all the place is always packed and there is normally plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately seated. We ordered the the Spring Rolls served with Peanut sauce, the Avocado Bahn Mi and the Pork Bahn Mi. We asked that the Spring Rolls have no protein just veggies and that was not a problem. The Spring Rolls arrived and they were delicious. Full of veggies and the peanut sauce was great. The Bahn Mi's are always very good. Big, full of ingredients and flavorful. This trip the bread was a little chewy but overall very good. I wish the pork in the Pork Bahn Mi was a bit higher in quality. I also wish that the Avocado Bahn Mi had more avocado in it. But that being said, I would still order both again. My biggest problem with this place is I believe a flaw. Once you finish your meal(after dining in) you must go wait in the long ling with everyone ordering their to go meals. It took us about 10 minutes to pay with only about 5 parties in front of us. Not a happy face. Prices are extremely reasonable. Recommend.
